Together we’ve helped 200,000 kids go to school, provided medical care for 2 million people and protected 13 endangered species and their habitats across the world. And we’ll continue to do more with this year’s Coins For Change.

Hello Penguins!

Last week we asked what you’re doing to raise donations for Coins For Change and Joiceful said:

I am a tour guide so each year when CFC comes along, I do a “Coins for Change Tour” which takes people to games and then to CFC pots. They donate to each pot and then I thank them for making a difference. I squeeze donating into touring for the perfect Holiday combo!!!

Thanks Joiceful – that sounds awesome! Tours are a great way to spread the word about Coins For Change.

The Holiday Party is coming up fast, so this week we want to know – what are you doing to celebrate the holidays in your own home?

This week we’ve been talking about giving… And on the subject of great gifts, we wanted to say a big thank you for a gift you gave us!

You awarded Club Penguin the Kid’s Vote for best website in the BAFTA awards. For those of you who don’t know, BAFTA stands for – British Academy of Film and Television Awards – it’s a really big deal in the UK!

So a HUGE thanks to all of you who voted. It means a lot to us!

We fixed the Holiday Igloo Contest bug! Now when you submit your igloo, you’ll get the holiday message instead of the Halloween one.

The new igloo items are out! December’s catalog is full of festive stuff to help you get ready for the holidays.

The Igloo Contest starts tomorrow – now would be a great time to start decorating.

In other news, some of you have been asking about getting bonus coins in December. Non-members who buy a membership between December 9 and 31 will get bonus coins added to their accounts. It’s our way of welcoming them to the island and helping them donate to Coins For Change.

I really like the Coins For Change item, and the snowmen. For the Coins For Change item, you could make a box that lets you type in the amount of coins you want to donate. And for the snowmen, you could do what Rolo 23 said, but it wouldnt be a game, it would come with accessories.

Hello Penguins!

The day you’ve been waiting for is here! The Halloween costumes have arrived at the Gift Shop. There are some great outfits for trick-or-treating (the Rad scientist is still one of my favorites!).

We know you love to mix-and-match stuff & we’re already seeing lots of spooky styles! Check out these fearsome looking penguins at the Town!

Last week we talked about green puffles being added to Jet Pack Adventure. We were curious what other games you thought puffles would like to join in on.

We heard lots of great suggestions. Here’s one from Njse2:

Maybe in sled racing black could make no snow for the others, white could make ice for you,orange could eat obstacles, blue could hit opponents with snowballs, red could do stunts, yellow could paint arrows to help, green could save you from falling, pink could dig holes, and purple could dance the snowramps after you. That woul be cool!

I have to say… you guys make great reporters. Last Sunday you asked some questions about the multiplayer Club Penguin Game Day! for Wii.

We talked to some of the people who helped make the game. Here are the answers to some of your terrific questions:

Diego2310 asked: “In the new game will you get the opportunity to meet any of the famous penguins?”
A: There’s a Dance game – so Cadence will be around. And maybe a few more penguins you’ll recognize, too…

20andy10 asked: “If you earn things on the game, will you at the end be able to upload them to your computer club penguin account?”
A: Yep! There are items in the game that you can transfer via Wi-fi to your online penguin account. You’ll also get an unlock code with the game.

Ninjaneal asked: “Will there be stamps for the game?”
A: Yes! You’ll be able to earn stamps (14 total) – and then send them via Wi-fi to your Stamp Book in Club Penguin! Check out your Stamp Books when Club Penguin Game Day! Wii comes out to see what stamps you’ll be able to earn on Wii.
 

So – Yellow? Red? Green? Blue? All the teams are gonna try to conquer the island. Which team are you going to join?

Awesome – Does that mean Clothing Items and Furniture can be transferred , even if a penguin has a member or non member account !
